Daylight saving ends soon, November 6th to be exact. You know what that means, yes, an extra hour of sleep in the morning. Oh glorious sleep! No more waking up at 6 am to catch the 7:45 train. No hold on, you wake up at 6:00am according to your watches; but your Biological clocks know its 7:00am. That’s awesome. Right? But, what about lunch? Your clock says its noon, but your stomach says its 1 and its time for lunch! But you can’t leave class or work and grab a quick bite; you just have to sit there with your growling stomach and pray that the person sitting next to you has a louder stomach. Oh, daylight saving what a double-edged sword you are!
I know a girl, a student, who lost her spring break. T’was a week-long break and she had many, many plans. They included reading, studying, watching movies and sleeping in. However, most of her plans were shattered. She could not read because of the headache she had due to a cold. She could not study, because lets face it, nobody wants to study during the holidays. She could not watch any movies, for the want of any interesting movie to watch and most of all she could not sleep in because of her siblings who had school every morning.
And now this girl on the last day of her break, has no clue what to do for school tomorrow. So she decides to just waste another day as well!
T’is the story of the girl with the lost spring break, I hope the readers appreciate her sorrow as deeply as I do.
I have been a terrible blogger for the past couple of months, I have all but given up writing and the few posts I did put up in the last few months have been half-hearted. I feel terrible about this and would like to rectify this monstrosity on my part by blogging more often. I am not pledging to update everyday (I cannot manage that, and I will not even give it a try), but I hope to have something up at least every week.
Looking at my drafts page I see that I have a couple of rough drafts that I need to work on, so I think there will be Merlin Series 3 reaction post soon and a Doctor Who Christmas Special review (I know these are very late, but bear with me I need to get my comments across) there will also be a Sherlock Holmes post somewhere in the middle.
When it comes to Tash and Charlie’s Amazing Journey, I have some great ideas but I really don’t know if I will be able to merge them into a coherent plot. Regardless, I will try to at least give an idea about what their big plan is for the summer!
That’s all for now, hoping to post something substantial soon.
I felt obliged to write something up, so here goes:
1. My advice to people is to never take a Physics Interim class, it is a dead bore. It helps that your professor is a very interesting guy and makes the class fun, also the students are very witty, but still….ALL THAT IS NOT WORTH 4 HOURS OF PHYSICS !!!!
2. Maple Syrup is soooooo thick, it takes ages to come out of the bottle.
3. After the new Doctor Who Season finale I realized that I have nothing else to watch until fall!!!
4. Whenever I decide to go to the pool, it starts raining cats and dogs.
5. This year Harry Potter 7 part 1, The Chronicles of Narnia Part 3, and two other Bollywood movies are releasing
There I have fulfilled my obligation,, see you later…..
