The Monarch butterflies that live in the U.S.A and Canada migrate to a strip of land in Mexico every winter. They occupy a very thin strip of land there, millions of butterflies stay there and the trees look like they have been covered by a blanket of butterflies. Recently, this strip experienced a very cold winter, the cold caused many of the butterflies to die out. In fact, about 85% of the population has died out, this is a disaster for the population. We can only hope that the population is able to recuperate…….
